Cliched or not – I cannot believe 12 months has gone by since preparing for Christmas last year! Despite covid interruptions, the big man made it to the Wirral in 2020 and has confirmed he’ll be back again this year to double-check that his naughty/nice lists are up to date….
The bookings open on Sunday 1st August and very often sell out fast, within a matter of hours. Father Christmas is a particularly busy man this year, so whilst we have managed to secure one more date than usual, once the appointments have gone, no more can be added. When do they take place?
This year, Santa will join us on October 2nd, 9th and 23rd at the Slinky Studio! Along with a very special additional date at Cub and Calf, West Kirby on October 30th.
Why October???
We need time after your session to beautifully post process your images, upload them to your private gallery and allow you time to see and place your order. Digital images are available for immediate download, printed products are professionally made at our pro photo lab before dispatching them to you at home. We want to ensure you have plenty of time to enjoy your photographs in the lead up to the big day!
How long is the session?
Your appointment lasts ten minutes, longer than you’ll have with Father Christmas at a grotto, and much more magical and private experience. There’s plenty of time for inquisitive little ones questions as well as us getting those perfect portraits.
How much does it cost?
The ticket price is £99 and includes:
– a private meet and greet with Father Christmas.
– a little gift from the North Pole.
– your favourite image from the day as a high resolution digital download, that you can print, share online and do as you like with!
After your session you’ll receive login details to your online gallery where you can choose your complimentary image and purchase a range of products.
Can I bring somebody else?
The session is valid for siblings from one family only. If you wish to bring cousins/friends or anybody else, please book a session per family. If you book sessions next to each other we are happy to discuss photographing everybody both together and individually – this will depend on numbers and ages and must be arranged in advance.
Can I change my day or time?
All bookings are final, we have Father Christmas for a limited amount of time and generally sell out quickly, so please note, no amendments can be made to your booking.
Sold! How do I book?
We have a little something special this year, too! Father Christmas would like to present each child with their own, personalised ‘Nice List Certificate’ we’re sure they’ll be delighted to receive it! Be sue to click this as an add on at the time of booking.
What if I don’t want to meet Father Christmas?
Fear not, we have two wonderful options for you! Our Christmas Toy Town set is perhaps my favourite to date! Wrap up warm for a stroll down Christmas Alley, where you’ll find toys and games and Nutcrackers. And wait, what’s this? Is it snowing?
Our ever popular Christmas Window sessions have had a makeover for 2021 also! Christmas Magic is a truly gorgeous, Cosy Christmas Eve feel portrait. Pop those PJs on and come grab a cookie by the fire as Father Christmas flys past on his sleigh.
All festive sessions follow the same pricing and go on sale at 8pm, 1st August.
